There are so many ways to make crochet flowers. After you have those beautiful flowers, though, you need to add leaves!

How to Crochet Leaves (Free Pattern)
Supplies
- Crochet Yarn – medium or medium-light weight
- Crochet Hook – 2.5-3.5 mm
- Tapestry Needle
- Scissors
Directions
Step 1
Start with a slip knot.
Step 2
Work 10 chain stitches.
Step 3
Skip 3 chains from the hook and work with the 4th chain stitch.
Step 4
Work a Double Crochet in the 4th chain.
Step 5
Work 2 more DC into the same chain stitch.
So we now have 3 DC in the 4th chain of our base chains.
Step 6
Work a DC into the next chain stitch.
Step 7
Work 1 DC into each of the next 2 chain stitches.
Step 8
Work a Half Double Crochet into the next chain stitch.
Step 9
Now, work a Single Crochet into the next chain stitch.
Step 10
Then, work a slip stitch into the last chain.
Step 11
Now, work 2 chain stitches.
Step 12
Work another slip stitch into the same chain that we slip-stitched before.
Step 13
Work a Single Crochet into the next chain stitch.
Step 14
Work a Half DC into the next chain stitch.
Step 15
Work 1 DC into each of the next 3 chain stitches.
Step 16
Work 3 DC into the next chain stitch.
Step 17
Insert the hook through the 3rd chain stitch from the previous stitches (on the other side of the leaf).
Step 18
Work a slip stitch into that chain.
Step 19
Work 4 chains.
Step 20
Insert the hook through the 3rd chain from the hook.
Step 21
Work a SC into the 3rd chain from the hook.
Step 22
Work another SC into the next chain.
Step 23
Work a slip stitch into any adjacent stitch and pull out the yarn.
Step 24
Leave 4 cm or more yarn and then cut off yarn from the bundle. Flip the crochet leaf and use a tapestry needle to secure the open ends of the yarns through the crochet pattern on the backside.
