Wooden Spatula Uncle Sam Craft (Dollar Store DIY)

We love using Dollar Tree materials to make imaginative crafts! Which is why we love this easy Uncle Sam craft made with a wooden spatula!

A little paint, some craft foam and a few embellishments turn a spatula into a cute Uncle Sam puppet or fun patriotic decor.

Wooden Spoon Uncle Sam Craft on Wood Wall with red stripped star

For kids, this is a great Uncle Sam puppet that can be used for imaginative play and homeschool learning activities designed around the Fourth of July, America’s Independence, Patriotism and U.S. History.

Our Bald Eagle Wooden Spoon Craft make a great puppet, too!

For adults, this Uncle Sam craft is cute displayed on a shelf or tucked into a potted plant. These are great patriotic decorations for a Fourth of July party or picnic.

We used the same dollar store materials for this craft as we did for many of our other July 4th crafts. So you can easily make several different projects with the same supplies. Here are some of our other projects utilizing the same materials:
