How to Make a Homemade Trophy
- Trophy Template Pattern
- Colored Construction Papers
- Toilet paper roll
- Craft glue
Cut 2 pieces from a toilet paper roll. We’re using a 2 inch piece and a 3/4 inch piece.
The short one will be the base and the long one will be the cup.
Cover the bigger toilet paper roll piece with a colored construction paper of your choice.
Wrap the paper around the tube and mark it to where to cut. The paper strip should cover the tube completely. Tape or glue the ends together to secure.
Use the large round shape to make a cone shape with a diameter the same width as the toilet paper roll. Glue the ends together on the cone.
Glue the cone onto the top of one end of the roll.
Then glue a border around the bottom edge of the roll.
Glue the handles on both sides of the cup.
Then glue the curved highlight pattern along any one side of the cup, near one of the handles.
Cover the short piece of the cardboard roll with a different colored paper.
Cut out the medium round shape from the same colored paper.
Then cut out the small round shape from the same color of paper that you used for the trophy.
Glue the small round shape in the center of the medium round shape.
Glue the medium round shape on top of the short TP roll piece.
Then use the rectangle paper cutout (yellow) and form a cylinder with it by rolling it and gluing the ends together.
Attach the cylinder in the center of the circle on the short toilet paper base.
Then glue the small rectangle cutout on the base, as seen in the photo below.
Glue the homemade trophy cup with the pointed end of the cone inserted into the top of the cylinder.
Cut out a star shape from a colored piece of paper and glue to the trophy beside the highlight piece.
Customize this DIY trophy by writing an achievement on the base.
