DIY Fall Pinecone Centerpiece

Supplies

  • 2 Pieces of Craft Wood (12 in x 2.5 in)
  • 12 Normal-size Pinecones
  • 9 Mini Pinecones
  • Acrylic Paint (Brown, Orange, Olive Green, Cranberry, Gold)
  • 3 Glass Candle Holders
  • 3 Mini Leaf Shaped Tea Light Candles (I bought mine at the Dollar Tree)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Paint Brush

Directions

Step 1

Glue the two pieces of wood together side by side with hot glue.

Paint the top and sides of the wood with brown paint. There is no need to paint the bottom underneath.

Next, paint the pinecones in a variety of colors. We used orange, green and cranberry paint colors. Then paint the tips of the leaves with gold.

You don’t need to paint the entire bottom of the pinecone as it will be glued to the base and not shown.

Glue the candle holders to the base, spacing them out evenly on the wood.

Arrange the pinecones on the base to decide what type of pattern you are looking for. Once you are happy, then lift each up each pinecone and glue to the base.

Place a tea light candle in each candle holder.
