This easy DIY Valentine’s Day candle can be made in about 15 minutes. Using Dollar Tree supplies, it is an inexpensive craft to make for friends and family. Or make these to sell at craft fairs.
If you are making several of these, the cost will be about $2 to $3 each. Assuming you the burlap, twine, ribbon and stickers to make several candles with the same supplies.
With the flameless flickering light, this battery operated candle is the perfect decor for your Valentine’s Day dinner at home.

How to Make a Valentine’s Candle
Supplies
- Battery operated candle (you can also buy them on Amazon)
- Love theme stickers
- Red gingham ribbon
- Twine
- Burlap ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
Directions
Step 1
Wrap burlap ribbon around the center of the candle and hot glue into place.
Step 2
Wrap gingham ribbon around the center of the burlap ribbon and hot glue into place.
Step 3
Hot glue or use the sticker’s adhesive backing to stick a large decorative Valentine sticker to the center of the burlap and ribbon. Press firmly so that it holds.
Step 4
Wrap twine around the top of the candle 4 to 5 times. Knot the ends and trim off the excess twine. Repeat again at the bottom of the candle.
