Samoa Truffles Recipe

These decadent Samoa truffles are the perfect treat to make for a Christmas gift exchange. Loaded with coconut, dulce de leche and sweetened milk, each truffle is a rich indulgence.

If you love the classic Girl Scout cookie, then you will love these delicious truffles!

The great thing about this Samoa truffles recipe is that it is so easy to make! No baking is needed. You can easily stir up the ingredients and make homemade truffles in less than an hour.

Samoa Truffles Recipe

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Assembly Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

Ingredients for a dessert: dulce de leche, sweetened condensed milk, melting chocolate, vanilla wafers, and shredded coconut in labeled bowls.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Spread coconut out on the baking sheet. Brown in the oven for 10 minutes. 

In a large mixing bowl add the toasted coconut, vanilla wafers, dulce de leche, and condensed milk. Stir together until well incorporated.

Using a cookie scoop, scoop balls of the mixture onto parchment paper.

Freeze for 30 minutes.

Melt the chocolate squares in the microwave, using the package instructions as a guide for how long to microwave. 

Dip the bottom of each truffle in the melted chocolate.

Then drizzle melting chocolate across the top of each truffle.

Store in an air-tight container for up to 3 days.
