White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge Recipe
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Chill Time: 1 Hour
Yields: About 16 1-Inch Pieces
Ingredients
- One 14-Ounce Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Two 12-Ounce Bags White Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 25 Starlight Mints, Crushed (Candy Canes could also be used)
Directions
Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for a minute, then stir. They won’t be fully melted, but that is fine.
Add the sweetened condensed milk to the bowl with the chocolate chips. Then microwave for 30 seconds and stir all ingredients together. Continue to microwave in 30 second increments until the white chocolate chips are melted and smooth when stirred.
Stir in half of the crushed mints, the peppermint extract and salt. Mix well to combine.
Pour the mixture into the lined pan and spread evenly.
Top with the remaining crushed mints.
Put in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until set.
Using a sharp knife, slice the fudge into 1-inch pieces.
