This unusual Christmas candy recipe is incredibly easy to make! No baking is needed for this Peanut Butter Frito Candy with a sweet and salty crispy crunch.

This easy homemade candy recipe is very similar to our old-fashioned cornflake candy. You can easily make both varieties with a lot of the same ingredients.
Frito Christmas Candy Recipe
- Yields: 24 large candies
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Chill Time: 1 Hour 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 6-7 cups Frito chips (One 9.25 oz bag)
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Christmas sprinkles (optional)

Directions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is bubbling.

Remove from the heat. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the Fritos.

Fold the mixture together gently until all of the Fritos are coated with the peanut butter mixture.

Drop by spoonfuls onto your parchment lined sheet.
Allow the candy to set for 20 minutes.

Melt the chocolate chips by microwaving for 30 second intervals, stirring in between.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the candy clusters. Immediately sprinkle the Christmas sprinkles on top.
