Strawberry Puppy Chow Recipe (Valentine Muddy Buddies)
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 4 Minutes
Yields: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup Valentine M&M’s
- 1/3 cup marshmallows
Directions
Blend freeze dried strawberries in a food processor. Set aside.
Melt the white chocolate as directed on the package, or heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals on 50 percent power until smooth with no lumps.
Combine the Chex cereal and the melted white chocolate in a bowl. Be careful not to break the cereal too much.
In a zip-top plastic bag, add in the freeze dried strawberries powder and the powdered sugar.
Add in the white chocolate covered Chex cereal and mix well. Being careful not to break the cereal squares, you can gently shake the mixture in the bag or slightly squeeze it together with your hands. Combine together until all of the pieces are coated.
Finally, add the M&M’s and marshmallows into the bag and gently shake to coat.
Pour the Valentine’s Day puppy chow into a bowl to serve or keep in the bag until ready to use.
