2-Ingredient Strawberry Fudge Recipe

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 3 Minutes
Chill Time: 4 Hours
Yields: About 16 1-Inch Pieces

Ingredients

Container of strawberry frosting and a bowl of pink candy melts on a marble surface, surrounded by fresh strawberries.

Directions

Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

Place the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds during the cook time so that they don’t burn. Once the candy melts are smooth, without lumps, then they are ready.

A glass bowl with pink yogurt and a red spatula, surrounded by whole strawberries on a marble surface.

Remove the lid and every tiny little piece of metal foil from the rim of the frosting container. (Any metal remaining could spark in the microwave and cause problems.) Microwave the container for 1 minute.

Alternatively, you could scoop the frosting into a microwave-safe bowl and heat it for 1 minute.

Pour the melted frosting into the bowl with the candy melts and stir until combined.

Pink batter is being poured from a container into a glass bowl.

Pour the mixture into the lined pan and spread evenly. Tap the pan on a solid surface to remove air bubbles.

Put in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until set.

Using a sharp knife, slice the fudge into 1-inch pieces.

Helpful Tips

  • Store fudge in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two weeks or in a cool, dry spot for up to 1 week.
  • You can freeze fudge in a sealed container for up to 3 months.
  • To increase the strawberry flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry extract to the melted frosting before pouring it into the chocolate melts. Do NOT add extract to the chocolate directly or it will ruin the chocolate.
  • In lieu of strawberry flavored candy melts, you can use pink candy melts and a 1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract added to the frosting, not the chocolate.
