Cookie Butter Birds Nest Brownies Recipe
Prep time: 30 minutes
Rest time: 22 minutes
Yields: 9-10 Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 Box Brownie Mix (We used Betty Crocker Favorites Milk Chocolate)
- 2 Tablespoons Water (or whatever the box mix calls for)
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil (or whatever the box mix calls for)
- 2 Eggs (or whatever the box mix calls for)
- 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 6 Tablespoons Salted Butter (Room Temperature)
- 1/3 Cup Cookie Butter Spread
- 1 Cup Powder Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Heavy Whipping Cream
- Cadbury Mini Chocolate Eggs
- Piping Bag and Piping Tip 4B

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions.
Fold in the chocolate chips.

Line the 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Make sure the parchment paper hangs over the sides. If you would like, you can grease the sides that are not covered by parchment paper with some butter.
Pour the brownie batter into the baking pan, making sure it is evenly distributed, then bake according to the instructions on the box.
Once done, allow to cool.
After cooled, use a round cookie cutter to cut small circles of out the brownies.

In a mixing bowl, add the butter and cookie butter and mix with a hand mixer or stand mixer until they are combined and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Next, add the powder sugar and heavy whipping cream. Mix until the smooth, about 1 minute.

Place a piping tip in a piping bag. Add the cookie butter buttercream into a piping bag.

Break some of the pretzel sticks in half.

Pipe a circle of cookie butter cream on top of the brownie to be the nest.

Add some of the pretzels at the bottom of the buttercream nest by slightly pushing in the whole pretzels into the cream.
Place a few mini Cadbury chocolate eggs in the middle of the buttercream nest. Then add more of the half pretzels to the top of the nest, in between the chocolate eggs.
