Easter Bunny Tail Oreo Cookies Recipe

Prep Time: 30 minutes
Yields: 15 cookies

Ingredients

Four bowls featuring Oreos, mini marshmallows, white chocolate melts, and pink chocolate melts rest on a white surface alongside a colorful plaid cloth. Perfect ingredients for crafting delightful Easter bunny tail cookies!.

Instructions

Melt the white chocolate melts according to the package instructions.

Coat the mini Oreos and the full-size Oreos in the melted white chocolate and place them on a piece of parchment paper to cool. We found that dipping the Oreos in a bowl of the melted chocolate was easiest.

A chocolate cookie is partially submerged in a bowl of white liquid, likely milk, with a purple spatula nearby. A colorful cloth is visible at the bottom.
A fork with a purple handle is dipped in a bowl of thick, white liquid, possibly yogurt or cream. A dollop of the liquid is visible on the ends of the fork.

While the chocolate is still soft, press a mini marshmallow into the top of each cookie.

When the white chocolate has hardened, melt the pink chocolate according to the package instructions. Then transfer the pink chocolate to a piping bag or zip-top plastic bag.

Cut the tip off the piping bag (or the corner off of a zip-top plastic bag) and pipe one large circle and three small circles on each mini Oreo to make the bunny’s feet.

Allow the pink chocolate to harden.

To attach the bunny feet to the bunny tail, you will need to re-melt the remaining white or pink chocolate to use to secure. Place the melted chocolate in a piping bag and pipe a small amount on the bottom of each mini Oreo. Press two mini Oreos on top of one large Oreo, with the mini Oreos slightly overhanging the edge.

Helpful Tip: You don’t have to use a piping bag to attach the feet to the bunny tail. You could use a small spoon to add a dab of chocolate to the back of the mini Oreos.

Allow the chocolate to cool and harden before serving.
