Ingredients
The full list of ingredients is in the recipe card below, but here are some substitutions you could make if desired:
- Jim Beam Apple Bourbon Whiskey Any apple flavored whiskey will work, but Jim Beam is among the most popular and easy to find. We personally love the Evan Williams Apple Whiskey, too, after visiting their production facility in Louisville, Kentucky.
- Apple Cider You can use bottled apple cider or make your own crock pot apple cider. Just don’t substitute apple juice, it won’t taste the same.
- Olive Oil This is just to get the cinnamon sugar to stick to the glass. You could use another type of oil with mild flavor, or use a light corn syrup instead.
How to Make an Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail
Coat the rim of a glass with olive oil.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together on a plate. Then dip the rim of the glass in the sugar mixture to coat evenly.

Add the liquids into the glass and stir. Top with garnishes, if desired.

Another great Thanksgiving party drink is our non-alcoholic Apple Harvest Punch, which is perfect for kids and adults.
